Officers seize seven e-scooters

You've told us that tackling e-scooters is one of the issues important to you. Recently, whilst neighbourhood officers have been carrying out patrols in the West and South of Norwich, they have seized seven e-scooters:

• Two e-scooters seized on Stevenson Road

• One on Clover Hill Road

• One on Barn Road which had two people riding it

• One on Earlham Green Lane

• One in Bowthorpe which had two people riding it

• One on Motum Road

• One on Mansfield Lane

A reminder that it’s not currently possible to get insurance for privately owned e-scooters. This means it’s illegal to use them on the road or in public spaces, such as parks, street pavements, and shopping centres.
